Would you like to take part in the National Numeracy’s 'Becoming a Numeracy Champion' training programme?
We have been given the exciting opportunity for staff to take part in the CPD accredited ‘Becoming a Numeracy Champion’ training programme from National Numeracy. Places have been fully-funded by West Sussex County Council via the Multiply initiative.
Numeracy Champions are trained to support adults and young people as they develop positive attitudes toward maths. Numeracy Champions don't teach maths, but instead offer support and encouragement as others work to improve their confidence and numeracy skills. Resources are provided by National Numeracy for Champions to signpost learners.

The training takes place online, in two x 3-hour sessions and there are several programmes coming up in the next few weeks. There will be more as the year progresses.
